Extending existing buildings is where we started and it remains an AFD Construction speciality, with projects usually ranging from under £50,000 to in excess of £200,000.

Although we build projects up to a value of £10m, by allocating management under a tiering system we are able to undertake small scale works like kitchen re-fits with equal commitment.
Over the years much of our work has been in the conservation sector, restoring Grade I and Grade II listed buildings utilising both heritage skills and modern techniques.

A committed team

Our dedicated team comprises of around 50 heritage skilled trades people, managers, structural engineers, chartered surveyors and architects, most of whom have worked with us for many years. These are supported by up to 100 specialist sub-contractors with whom we work on a regular basis.

Serious investment in large-scale plant means that we are able to undertake extensive groundworks and landscaping projects.
